Replay is about the cinema in our heads. The films that sometimes run unconsciously on loop, whether freshly shot or recalled from our vast archive by random triggers and thoughts.
The pleasant ones glide gently through the mind, while the others move with a sense of effort and friction.
Dreams, hopes or anxieties are the scriptwriters, the plots invigorating, inspiring, thought-provoking or often simply exhausting.
In many people’s minds, stories write themselves. If you are not careful, the exit from a loop can already be the step into a new film.
For me, it is both an art and a need to calm my mind so that I can enjoy a blank screen from time to time.
